My Dynamic Discs Story: In 2010, I was introduced to disc golf by a few friends and fell in love.

After a few months of playing, I decided to become more involved. I attended club meetings, volunteered, ran events. I basically gave every free hour I had to this great sport. Over the next handful of years, my efforts only grew. I ran numerous leagues, tournaments, clinics, started a Not For Profit with some friends, volunteered to help others with their events, introduced dozens of people to the sport, raised funds to publicly recognize those around me that I thought went above and beyond to help grow the sport, and only fell deeper in love with the sport of disc golf.

One of the first discs I threw was an Opto Fuse, it was perfect for my style of play. I continued to follow Latitude 64 and try new discs as they were released. When I found out Latitude 64 was going to produce discs for Dynamic Discs, I was thrilled. Dynamic Discs at the time made great apparel and seemed to hold the same values that I had for the sport, everything they did had a positive impact and focused on getting more people out on the course.

In 2014, I participated in a disc golf centric Secret Santa that changed my life. Jeremy Rusco was my Secret Santa and was kind enough to give me free entry to the 2015 Glass Blown Open in Emporia, Kansas. When the owner of a disc golf manufacturer invites you to make a 1200 mile journey to take part in their premier event, you go.

So with a few buddies in tow, off to Kansas we went. It was amazing! Dynamic Discs and crew put on one heck of a show and Emporia is such a beautiful community. I fell in love with the town, so I suggested, in jest, that my wife should look at Emporia State University for her graduate school. To humor me, she did and to our surprise it was the perfect fit. She applied, joined me for the 2016 GBO, interviewed with the school, and was accepted right then and there.

With less than 4 months to plan our move from upstate NY, we made that trip to Emporia. Our close friends Eric and Denise suggested I would be a good candidate for a position at Dynamic Discs and to my surprise I was hired on as the Shipping Coordinator. After a few months, the Sponsorship Coordinator role was created, a much better fit for my unique skill set. We've been loving life in KS ever since and wouldn't change a thing.
