My Dynamic Discs Story: Throughout high school, I had heard about disc golf from my brother and would play a couple casual rounds a year with him when he would go. He would let me borrow a couple discs out of his bag to throw and I would do my best not to lose them. I am more of a ball golfer so disc golf didn't appeal to me as much, but it was something to do and was much cheaper than the traditional ball golf. In 2014, I worked for the Granada Coffee Company part-time while going to college. I was looking for another job to get a little extra money while I lived on a broke, college student budget. My brother told me that Bobby Thompson, a former co-worker of his, had said that Jeremy Rusco was looking for employees at Dynamic Discs and gave me his number to call if I was interested. Convenient timing to say the least. A week later, I called Jeremy and set up a time to meet with him and discuss what job positions were available. We met at the retail store and talked for a little bit and then asked if I wanted to see the warehouse. I was interested so we headed over and was introduced to some of the warehouse crew. I was essentially hired on the spot and asked if I could work right then. I was ecstatic and started my career with Dynamic Discs in March of 2014. Recently, I've grown to appreciate and love the sport of disc golf and go exponentially more than I used to.
