Crispin CarrascoPDGA #: 33698 ![]() Beginner TipThrow something every day, even if a disc isn't handy. I push-putt trash to the can and I'll upshot office papers to my co-workers. If someone asks, "Hey hand me that hammer", I'll throw it to them. If they support you and disc golf, they won't be mad you just threw a hammer at them. They will understand you're keeping your game wired. As long as your brain is always working on object placement and calculations, it will transfer to your disc throw when you hit the course. I just nailed my wife in the head with a dirty diaper from about 35' at a funny angle. I know that is going to come in handy at a tournament if she lets me go. Most Memorable MomentOne of my most memorable disc golf moments would be parking a second shot from over the water on Jones West Hole 18 after my partner Emac's drive hit an early tree in the Final 9 Skins Doubles at GBO a couple years ago. Any GBO memory is most memorable as well! What Separates Team Dynamic Discs? These dudes rock! In The BagDriversWestside Discs VIP GiantThe Giant is overstable and fast. I like turning it over a bit and aiming a little more right. It always comes in on a nice angle once it starts slowing down and can handle a stiff headwind. Dynamic Discs Lucid EscapeI love Teebirds, but could never throw them really far, so i would only use them for accurate fairway drives. The Escape, for me, flies just like a great broken-in Teebird, but it is a lot faster and longer so accuracy and control are accomplished in addition to having the extra distance capability if needed. Latitude 64 Opto XXXThe XXX is overstable, mellow, accurate, and has a thick rim for a smooth release and control. Just throw it 40' left or right of your mark and it will do the rest. Latitude 64 Opto VillainThe Villian holds a straight line then dives in on my mark the last 50' of a drive. It is very reliable and accurate. MidrangeDynamic Discs Classic JudgeI haven't really needed anything else. If the pin is within 300', I have a Classic Judge that likes to baby-hyzer float right to my comfort zone. Latitude 64 Zero Medium SinusThe Judge will tag the Sinus in if the wind picks up. Overstable, no skip finish, sits, and quits. Plus it was a popular disc in Newton when I first started playing and never knew they were that great. Latitude 64 Opto XXXIf it's something the Judge or the Sinus can't handle, I'll snag that XXX and either back or forehand my way to a good frame. From an elegant birdie to a bitter triple bogey save (it unfortunately happens to all of us). The XXX can get me out of trouble that a bad kick can get me into. Putters |
