My best beginner tip is to start of with a neutral putter and/or neutral midranges and learn those discs really really well until you can control them on any angle and line you want. Only after doing that should you consider stepping up to higher speed discs, and when you do that, I suggest more understable and lightweight discs because they will stay in the air longer. But above all of that the most important thing to do is have fun! You should never beat yourself up too much on the course, it's all for fun.
Most Memorable Moment
My most memorable moment in disc golf is getting my first ace ever, a tournament ace, in my second ever event in April of 2019. Not only did I cash in a big ace pot, I also experience the pure elation that comes from such an awesome shot and I will never forget it.
What Separates Team Dynamic Discs?
What separates Team Dynamic Discs is that it's not just a collection of separate, individual players, it is truly one connected team. It's not just friends, it's family. The team isn't full of people who are just disc golfers, it is filled with genuinely good people and that is what sets it apart.
In The Bag
Dynamic Discs Lucid Enforcer
I use the Enforcer when I need to trust a disc in the wind and also for spike hyzers or skip shots. It is very reliable.
Dynamic Discs Lucid Raider
I love the Raider as my go to distance driver because it is so versatile. I have several in my bag in all different stages of wear so I can count on it for so many different types of shots.
Dynamic Discs Fuzion Trespass
I use the Trespass for understable hyzer flip shots or tailwind max distance shots. The Trespass is a very underrated disc that glides for days and that's why I like it.
Dynamic Discs Lucid Felon
I love the Felon because I can trust it to always finish hard. No matter if it's forehand or backhand or what angle I put it on, I can count on the felon to do what I want it to do every time. I also love it in the wind.
Dynamic Discs Fuzion Burst Getaway
This is my absolute favorite fairway driver because of how much glide it has. I can get almost distance driver distance with it while retaining fairway driver control. I carry multiple levels of beat in Getaways.
Dynamic Discs Lucid Vandal
I love the Vandal for extreme wooded hyzer flips where I need to carve a line or for rollers in the open.
Latitude 64 Gold Explorer
I use the Explorer for super straight shots that I can also trust putting good power behind. These also have tremendous glide and are very consistent.
Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Maverick
I love the Lucid-X Maverick because of the lines this thing can create. It is a very workable disc and I love it in the woods.
Westside Discs VIP-X Chameleon Moonshine Anvil
I use the Anvil for beefy backhand and forehand shots that I need to trust into any wind to hook up hard at the end. I use the VIP-X for skippy shots and the BT Hybrid for when I need it to stick. I love it for forehand approaches as well.
Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Chameleon Verdict
I love the Verdict because it has dependable stability while still having glide. Because of its flatness, I use it both forehand and backhand. This disc is great for hyzers.
Dynamic Discs Lucid EMAC Truth
I love love love the EMAC Truth because of how controllable it is with so much glide. I carry multiple beaten in levels and use it as my all around midrange. This is my favorite disc.
Westside Discs BT Hard Harp
I love the Harp for both forehand and backhand overstable approaches that I can trust to finish at the end but not too hard. It is very consistent in where it lands.
Dynamic Discs Moonshine Warden
I love throwing the Warden as a throwing putter because it is very neutral with a lot of glide and a good feel in the hand. I use it anywhere from wooded anhyzers to dead straight putter shots to wide open green approaches, it does it all.
