Beginner Tip

Field work - Spend time doing it and you'll not only learn how the various discs fly for you, but will build the confidence you need to select the right shot and execute that shot when you step up to the tee. Utilizing the Marksman basket for regular putting practice can be the secret to more consistent and confident putting on the course. If you consistently make putts on the Marksman than the full size baskets quickly feel enormous. Putts you feel you "missed" based on where you need to hit on the Marksman can become "makes" on the course which can build even more confidence when you walk up to each putt.

Most Memorable Moment

After over 12 years of playing, running events, designing courses, etc I would have to say my most memorable disc golf moment would be caddying for my son Aviar at his first ever PDGA Junior Worlds in Emporia, KS in 2018. Watching youth with the talent level that these competitors have from all over the World from 18 years old to under 6 years old was mind blowing. The way the kids encouraged each other throughout the tournament and supported each other when someone struggled was heartwarming. After a battle on the course these kids sprinted off to the playground to hang out and build friendships that would last a lifetime. I've become good friends with many of the parents and competitors from that first year at Junior Worlds which made our follow up trips in 2019, and 2021 (due to 2020 being cancelled) more of a family reunion than a competition. Our children are the future of the sport and Dynamic Discs did an outstanding job creating the "Disney Land" of disc golf experience every year we went. This was hands down my most memorable disc golf moment.

What Separates Team Dynamic Discs?

The Dynamic Discs family has talented players on the course, but equally as talented members off the course. The focus on not solely skill, but character among its players is awesome. Seeing the way everyone has respect for each other, supports efforts to grow the sport, and works together to bring incredible disc golf experiences to the players are all reasons why I feel extremely blessed and honored to be part of the DD family.

In The Bag

Drivers

Dynamic Discs Lucid Felon

Straight at high speed with a strong finish at the end of its flight. Hyzer shots, forehand shots, low skip shots, etc. The Felon is my most trusted fairway driver in all conditions.

Dynamic Discs Hybrid Raider

Long distance driver that is easily controllable and very predictable. If the wind kicks up I’ll turn to the Raider for a tad more stability than my Ballista Pro. Love it for backhand or forehand. My favorite distance driver in my bag.

Latitude 64 Opto Ballista Pro

Longest driving disc I've thrown. The perfect amount of stability to power up for incredible distance without turning or fading too much either way. Backhand or forehand, the Ballista Pro works amazingly.

Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Vandal

My super controllable fairway I love for shots I want some more distance or speed than my Truth can offer. Very versatile depending upon power and angle which makes it a weapon in many situations.

Dynamic Discs Fuzion Sheriff

Hyzer flip and bombs away with this driver. Great tailwind disc to unload on.

Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Felon

Wind or not, the consistency on both backhand and forehand with this disc is amazing. Love attacking hyzer shots with this meaty fairway.

Midrange

Dynamic Discs Lucid Truth

Highly versatile mid that can hold any line I release it on and glide for days.

Dynamic Discs Moonshine Verdict

When thrown hard it flies straight with a very consistent fade. I’ll use the Verdict when the wind might be a tad strong for my Truth.

Dynamic Discs Lucid Patrol

Use the Patrol for hyzer flip or low power tunnel shots. The understability allows me to focus on hitting lines with more control and less power when in the woods. Also works great for turnover shots in the open.

Putters

Dynamic Discs Classic Blend EMAC Judge

Feels great, flies great, and a wonderful complement to my Warden and Judge. I’ll use the EMAC Judge for shorter range putts and to mix up the feel if my Wardens and I hit a rough patch.

Dynamic Discs Classic Blend Warden

Favorite putter for the feel, stability, and ability to attack the chains. I will use a Warden off the tee, for approaches, and to finish out the hole.

Dynamic Discs Classic Blend Judge

I use the Judge off the tee for straight to slight fade shots. I’ll also pull out the Judge if I’m having an off day with my Warden as they have similar flights to some degree, but the addition of the bead psychologically gives me confidence in slight winds.

Dynamic Discs Special Edition Slammer (Classic pictured)

Reliable fade in the wind for both tee shots and approaches. Great feel in the hand for me. Use it for short hyzer shots or flat shots that I need to finish strong.

Dynamic Discs Lucid Slammer

Great driving putter for that strong finish in the wind. Fight the wind and slam chains with this incredible putt and approach disc.
