Beginner Tip

Be on the lookout for more experienced players on the course. Approach them and get to know them and ask to play with them. It may be intimidating at first but watch them and learn from them. Strive to be better than them and don’t stop until you are.

Most Memorable Moment

My first ace is still very memorable nearly 15 years later. We had travelled four hours away to play in a big tournament, I was competing in MA2 at the time and it was easily the largest event I had ever played in. I aced a fairly difficult hole that many people were scoring bogeys on. I ended up placing 2nd in the tournament. My winnings that weekend allowed me to get a practice basket that I still have to this day.

What Separates Team Dynamic Discs?

Everyone says it and we all mean it. Dynamic Discs is not just a team of golfers, a warehouse, and retail store. Dynamic Discs is not just a company. Dynamic Discs is a Family.

In The Bag

Drivers

Latitude 64 Hybrid River (Opto Pictured)

The River is a very versatile disc with a ton of glide that will surprise you with lines you can achieve throwing it. It’s perfect for tight tunnels with low ceilings.

Westside Discs VIP Stag

I’ll reach for the Stag when I need more distance or reliability in the wind than my River will provide.

Latitude 64 Opto Explorer

One of the best fairway drivers in the game, it is reliable for holding angles and shaping shots while maintaining stability. I usually carry multiple Explorers in other plastics such as Gold, Gold X and Opto X.

Dyanmic Discs Sockibomb Orbit Felon (Lucid Pictured)

The Felon is great at fighting headwinds and holding lines, and when the wind is down will have an incredibly consistent hyzer flight and finish. The Felon is also fantastic for skip shots. I usually carry multiple Felons in other plastics such as Lucid and Lucid X.

Westside Discs VIP Northman

The Northman is basically a longer River for me, a disc that will let you carve lines with incredible glide to keep it in the air.

Latitude 64 Grand Grace

The Grace immediately earned a spot in my bag with its amazing glide and ability to be utilized for many shots. Whether it be a pure hyzer throw that pushes down the fairway or hyzer-flips for hitting lines in tunnels the Grace is a workhorse.

Dyanmic Discs Fuzion Enforcer

My main distance driver when I need some stability to fight the wind or if the throw calls for a flex line.

Midrange

Dyanmic Discs Lucid Suspect

I’ll throw the Suspect when I want the small diameter and control of a putter but with a little more speed and fade than my Shield will give me.

Dyanmic Discs Lucid Bounty

An absolutely fantastic under-stable midrange that everyone should try.

Dyanmic Discs Lucid EMAC Truth

The Emac Truth has amazing glide, perfect stability and is reliable over and over again. It is quite possibly the best midrange in the game. I will generally carry a few Lucid and a Lucid X Eric McCabe Tour Series.

Westside Discs SE Anvil (VIP pictured)

A shallow profile and very dependable stability makes this the perfect disc for getting out of trouble with a clean release and great torque resistance.

Putters

Dynamic Disc Classic Warden

I prefer my putters bead-less and not too deep and the Warden is perfect in this regard. When it comes to putting I like the stability and glide and I trust it like no other putter.

Dynamic Disc Classic Blend EMAC Judge

For the me the Emac Judge shines off the tee with it’s strait to slightly over-stable flight and reliability when thrown with some power.

Latitude 64 Opto Pure

The Pure will hold nearly any line you put it on and has a very neutral finish.

Westside Discs BT Hard Shield

Fantastic upshot putter with good resistance to turning and a reliable finish while not dumping too hard at the end of the flight.
