Be on the lookout for more experienced players on the course. Approach them and get to know them and ask to play with them. It may be intimidating at first but watch them and learn from them. Strive to be better than them and don’t stop until you are.
My first ace is still very memorable nearly 15 years later. We had travelled four hours away to play in a big tournament, I was competing in MA2 at the time and it was easily the largest event I had ever played in. I aced a fairly difficult hole that many people were scoring bogeys on. I ended up placing 2nd in the tournament. My winnings that weekend allowed me to get a practice basket that I still have to this day.
Everyone says it and we all mean it. Dynamic Discs is not just a team of golfers, a warehouse, and retail store. Dynamic Discs is not just a company. Dynamic Discs is a Family.
The River is a very versatile disc with a ton of glide that will surprise you with lines you can achieve throwing it. It’s perfect for tight tunnels with low ceilings.
I’ll reach for the Stag when I need more distance or reliability in the wind than my River will provide.
One of the best fairway drivers in the game, it is reliable for holding angles and shaping shots while maintaining stability. I usually carry multiple Explorers in other plastics such as Gold, Gold X and Opto X.
The Felon is great at fighting headwinds and holding lines, and when the wind is down will have an incredibly consistent hyzer flight and finish. The Felon is also fantastic for skip shots. I usually carry multiple Felons in other plastics such as Lucid and Lucid X.
The Northman is basically a longer River for me, a disc that will let you carve lines with incredible glide to keep it in the air.
I’ll throw the Suspect when I want the small diameter and control of a putter but with a little more speed and fade than my Shield will give me.
I prefer my putters bead-less and not too deep and the Warden is perfect in this regard. When it comes to putting I like the stability and glide and I trust it like no other putter.
For the me the Emac Judge shines off the tee with it’s strait to slightly over-stable flight and reliability when thrown with some power.
