Keep everything slow and smooth. Make sure to pull the disc in front of your shoulders and get that elbow up!
Winning MPO at the 2017 Full Blown Open. It was awesome coming back 10 strokes in the final round to take the win!

This disc is my go-to for long range accuracy off the tee. It's got a perfect stability where I can trust it on a hyzer or even turn it a little bit for extra distance. This disc has taken over my bag.
This is easily the farthest flying disc in my bag. It's got a little more turn than the Lucid so I can get a nice hyzerflip out of it or throw it on a big flex line. This disc has also unlocked some extra forehand distance for me as well. Because it has a straighter flight it's easier to take advantage of that speed to get a little extra distance on my forehand.
This is my headwind fighter. Max weight with some sparkle in the flight plate means it's nice and overstable. I can trust it in the Kansas wind and never have to worry about it doing anything but crashing into the ground exactly where I want it to.
Since I played in my frist Trilogy Challenge, I was really excited for the Vandal. It has such a smooth understable flight that makes it really controllable for hyzerflips in the woods, but my favorite use of it is rollers. As mine has gotten more beat in, it has started rolling farther and farther with a long straight roll that's easy to get to the ground.
The Maverick has been a game changer for understable shots for me. On a hyzerflip, this disc is dead straight and it has one of the most workable flights of any disc I've ever thrown. If you play in the woods, you're missing out if you don't throw the Maverick.
The Getaway is still my favorite disc. It has so much glide and control, it doesn't even feel like I have to throw it hard to get the flight I want. The Lucid plastic is overstable enough to fight most headwinds and I can trust that it won't fade out too early. My favorite shot with this disc is to give it just a little bit of hyzer, let it flip almost all the way to flat, and then watch as it flies super straight without too much fade at the end. This disc is amazing.
The Fuzion Burst Getaway is my most workable fairway driver. I can hyzerflip it, trust it on a hyzer, turn it over, maybe even roll it. I've had this disc in my bag all season and it remains one that I trust the most for just about any shot in fairway driver range.
The Getaway in the Lucid-X plastic has the same glide as the Lucid, but zero turn and a much stronger fade. For a wide open shot, there is no disc in my bag I trust more than the Lucid-X Getaway to keep me close. I can throw it flat to the right and trust it to fade reliably and keep me close to the basket.
When the Felon came out in the Lucid-X Plastic, it was a game-changer for me. The Felon is the most comfortable forehand disc I've ever thrown and in the Lucid-X plastic it laughs at any headwind or any doubt you had of it fading. I have two of these in my bag. The one I've had all season is very beat in, but it still doesn't turn. It just fades a lot later giving me a little more distance for my forehands. The newer one is my get out of jail free card. I can throw it for forehand rollers, spike hyzers, or even grenades. This disc is incredible.
The Justice is one of the most popular discs from Dynamic Discs, but for me it was a little more overstable than I wanted. I've been throwing it in the Prime plastic for a while and this disc is perfect for upshots and short drives. It comes out super clean on a forehand release. I can throw it flat and not worry about it fading out too early as well. It's a super workable disc and one of the most accurate discs I've thrown.
The Moonshine Verdict is the most overstable Verdict I've thrown. It's amazing. I can trust it in a headwind on a flat release and know that it'll get good glide and a reliable fade.
I tend to flip flop between this disc and the EMAC Truth. The EMAC has a little straighter flight and more glide so it works super well in the woods. But in the open, the BioFuzion Verdict has a similar flight with just a little less glide and more accurate fade. So usually if I'm in the woods, I'll toss an EMAC in the bag, but in the open courses in Emporia the BioFuzion Verdict is my go-to straight flier.
I had kind of overlooked the Truth since the EMAC Truth came out. When I needed a midrange I could throw flat and know I would get a smooth right flight without too much fade, the Truth jumped straight in my bag. I really like this disc for dead straight shots in the woods or smooth turnovers.
This is my go-to driving and approach putter. I can throw whatever line I need and trust that the Warden will hold it.
The Warden is easily the straightest putter I've ever putted with. Inside the circle, I can put it on a line to the basket and I know that it won't fade out and it won't turn over. It has good glide so I don't have to worry about throwing it hard, and it really likes to find the chains. #TeamWarden
When the Guard came out, I was really attracted to the glide it has for longer jump putts and short approaches. I can throw a jump putt with the Guard the exact same way that I throw a regular putt inside the circle and the extra glide carries it all the way to the chains.
