It all starts with fun. In the beginning, don't worry too much about being the next 5-time-champ, or trying to throw 400 feet - just have fun.Try silly shots; make fun bets - but enjoy what you are doing. With time and practice, skills will sharpen - but you only get a short period of time to be in "awe" of something new - soak it up!
My first tournament. It was an unsanctioned quarterly and I did terribly, but everyone was very welcoming and supportive - and it set the example for me forever on how inclusive and diverse disc golf can be. It's a beautiful thing.
Family. It a word used loosely a lot in today's professional climate as we as a society seek to make people feel involved - but with Team Dynamic Discs it rings true. From the little touches like having a national touring player send you a supportive message to being able to have the backing of the best company in disc golf when you have a local initiative, to knowing when you recommended someone to buy from Dynamic Discs and know they will receive top-notch customer service - it creates a closeness and trust that can only be described as family.
THIS IS THE BEST DISC OF 2020. (Sorry Bounty, it was a close race. I promise). This disc caught me by surprise as it has a lot of people. Even stronger throwers who tend to pass over the "lightweight ladies discs" in the Easy to Throw line have found the Sapphire to be an absolute bomber. It took me only three throws with this disc to instantly start looking for more in varying weights and plastics - they are a staple in my bag. Best bet? Opto 167 - so good. just so so so so good.
Excellent driver, and just at the top end of my current arm speed. I have learned that I can make it do what I want, and that with a mix of new and seasoned Swords in the bag I have a variety of drives at my disposal.
What can this discs not do? So fun to throw, works great through the woods, and with confidence can be mashed on for some distance.
Great fairway utility disc that can be shaped; always have a crispy new one for forehands and like to keep a beat and seasoned one as possible for the shots that call for it.
Ever meet someone and feel like you have known them forever? That's what the Bounty was for my bag. As a lower skilled Am player, I have long struggled with soft, straight shots and purposeful anhyzer shots, but the Bounty, after a few rounds, quickly proved to be that long lost friend I didn't know I was missing. It has a breadth/depth to it a little different from the rest of my mids and I like the fit. I prefer the Fuzion plastic.
Its just pure money. Love the feel, love the flight, trust it above any other mold.
Emacs and Verdicts are for the shots I just want a touch more that I think I can get out of a Truth.
