My Dynamic Discs Story:I started playing disc golf 15 or so years ago in Raleigh, NC while in high school. I’ve always enjoyed competition and being in the woods so disc golf was the perfect sport for me. I love that you can play with a group or by yourself. I’m a big fan of solo early morning rounds and having a course all to myself. I also love playing in leagues, tournaments, and being part of the disc golf community.
I got into digital marketing in 2012 and I’ve been working for digital marketing agencies ever since learning everything from SEO, project management, performance marketing, and paid media. My friend sent me a screenshot of a job posting for a digital marketing specialist for Dynamic Discs. I was immediately interested. I updated my resume to include a few disc golf facts about me (favorite course, PDGA number, my disc golf in the bag, various disc golf nicknames, and my total # of confirmed aces). I felt great chemistry with the people I interviewed with and I was offered the job after a few zoom interviews. It didn’t take me long to accept the role. About 3 weeks later and an 18 hour drive from Raleigh, NC, I was in Emporia living the dream.
In my short time at Dynamic Discs, I’ve been very impressed with the culture, sense of community, and a clear commitment to excellence. I look forward to contributing to those ideals and helping the company, sport, and community grow.
