My Dynamic Discs Story:
In 2017, my elementary school hosted a disc golf tournament as a fundraiser to raise money for student field trips. I was in charge of organizing the event but had never played disc golf before. I reached out to Doug for any advice and assistance he was able/willing to provide, and he (along with many other in the DD family) came through in a big way - custom hot stamped discs donated by Paige Shue (Bjerkaas at the time), publicity, prizes, and more! We continued the event each year since then, and our partnership with Dynamic Discs has continued to grow. I have been so impressed with every aspect of Dynamic, from their assistance with our events to their industry-leading products and customer service (as I began to play more and more disc golf myself), not to mention their contributions to the community of Emporia and everything they have done to grow the sport worldwide; I wanted to give back to the company and be a part of it! I started volunteering for events like the GBO and Junior Worlds, and really enjoyed it but wanted to do more.
As a teacher I have summers off, and decided that I would apply to help in the warehouse during my summer break in the summer of 2020. I work summers fulfilling Amazon orders, and work the occasional weekend shift during the school year. I am thrilled to be a part of such a great company and help grow the sport I have grown to love!
