    Westside Discs VIP-Ice Shield Glass Blown Open Stamp 2023

    Disc Weight: 175g

    Westside's newest putter on the market, the Shield, is the next step up from the Swan. Designed with a tacky grip in the BT plastics, the Shield is a little thicker and has a small bead on the rim. It holds a stable line when throwing as an approach and a straight line into the chains while putting.

    About VIP-Ice:
    VIP-Ice is a premium blend of plastics that provides a stiffness between VIP and VIP-X. It has great durability, and more overstable flights compared to regular VIP.

    Westside VIP Ice Shield

    I have been putting with the BT Soft Shield since the start of the year. I am happy to get my hands on a premium plastic of this disc as I bag the Latitude 64 OPTO-X Chameleon Pure for my straight/turn driving putter and wanted something in the bag that compliments this disc. The VIP Ice Shield flies similarly to the Ice Judge. I was very pleased with this disc and the Shield is now in the bag!

    Fantastic disc. This Premium plastic Shield has good HSS and avoids flipping, while as it loses spin it seems to just slowly fade down forward. Extremely useful.
