Wyatt MahoneyPDGA #: 89460 ![]() Beginner TipIf you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong. Try not to get sad or mad if you have a bad shot. Everyone has days when they don’t play their best. Don’t compare yourself to others. It’s just you and the course out there. Trees are sneaky. Don’t get upset if one or two jump in front of your disc. Don't give up. Most Memorable MomentEarning my 2nd Junior World Championship in Emporia, Kansas was my most memorable moment so far! I had a rough first round and was tied for 5th. I told myself to just be consistent in my game and to not go for any crazy shots. I was going for par on each hole. I didn’t try to get a birdie unless I knew I could make it. Slowly I gained strokes and was able to make the final 9 with 3 other great junior disc golfers. I had such fun at the final 9 with my disc golf buddies there for me. I had such fun that I played great and going into the last hole my mom said, “hey Wyatt! Guess what? You’re tied for first.” I couldn’t believe it! I said, “can I go for it?” And my mom said “absolutely!”. We ended up in a playoff that went on for 3 holes. On that 3rd hole, I was able to make a pretty big putt and take the win. I couldn’t believe it! I’ll never forget it! What Separates Team Dynamic Discs?I noticed last year when I was playing at the Am and Junior World Championships in Quad Cities just how supportive Team Dynamic Discs was. I remember seeing and meeting Zach Melton and Paige Pierce and they were so cool and nice! They took pics with me, too! I also noticed last year and this year how they took time to go caddy and support their teammates. They took the time for us Juniors and it felt like a family. I want to be part of that family and be part of something bigger than myself. I want to help grow the sport and be there for my teammates! In The BagDriversMidrangePutters |
