Stadium Disc Golf

On July 12, 2014 Dynamic Discs hosted the first Disc Golf Experience at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Known to locals as "Jerry World", AT&T Stadium is home to the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. That Saturday in July though, the stadium became home to a nine-hole disc golf course that hundreds of disc golfers competed on. Never before had so many disc golfers wearing Tony Romo, Jason Witten, and other Cowboy jerseys played disc golf together! Most disc golfers are very passionate about playing disc golf. Football fans are passionate about their teams. The first Disc Golf Experience in Texas afforded folks passionate about both to spend a few hours doing what they love in a place where the team they love competes.

Repeat events during the summers of both 2015 and 2016 were held in Arlington at the home of the Cowboys. In 2017, the show moved to Nashville, Tennessee and Nissan Stadium. AT&T Stadium has a roof which helps with inclement weather. Nissan Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Titans does not have a roof. And it rained. The rain did little though to slow the good times had by disc golfers throwing discs in the stadium.

In 2018, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City played host to the event. Close to 600 players enjoyed throwing discs into baskets in the same venue where Patrick Mahomes throws footballs for touchdowns! In 2019, the event has landed one mile above sea level in Denver, Colorado home of the Broncos. On June 29, close to 600 disc golfers, including 2010 MPO World Champion Eric McCabe and current FPO World Champion Paige Shue, gathered to play another stadium disc golf course. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to go back to the AT&T stadium in 2020. Precautions were taken to keep everyone safe and we still had a great time!

We will not be hosting a stadium event in 2023.
