A Casual Round with Zach Melton and Chris Clemons (Plus an Impromptu Clinic for Bobby)
There's a difference between watching a pro round and watching pros play a round. This video is the second kind, and it's the more fun kind to watch.
Zach Melton and Chris Clemons (both lefties, both touring pros) get out at Bad Rock for what was supposed to be a normal practice loop. No commentary booth, no scoreboard pressure, just two friends working through a Pro Tour course before the event. Bobby Brown rolls up mid-round with a bag full of new plastic to throw, and what started as a casual practice round quietly turns into one of the more useful videos we've put out this year.
Two lefties, talking through their shots
If you've never watched two same-handed players read the same hole, this video makes the case for it. Zach and Chris share a dominant hand but disagree on shot selection constantly. Chris will throw a "techy" forehand where Zach goes big backhand. Zach picks a flippy fairway where Chris reaches for a Beefy Defender. They talk through the why on almost every tee, and you start to see how much of disc golf is personal preference dressed up as conventional wisdom.
