My Dynamic Discs Story:
When I first came to Emporia in 2012, I thought disc golf was weird. I hated the tournaments and the traffic from 'tourists.' I didn't really have a ton of good to say about disc golf for the next 5+ years in this town.
About 2017, I started realizing many of my friends and people I admire play disc golf and I think that softened me up bit. Fast forward to November 2019, I had a chance to interview at Dynamic Discs and even though I had no experience with this sport or its people, I got the job.
Doug gave me a tour of the warehouse and I started learning more and more about disc golf and Dynamic Discs as a company. I am completely blown away by its success and how many great things it has done for the community of Emporia and how crazy fast our teams are growing the sport and our business. I still have not been able to play yet, but I have the discs and I am ready for my first opportunity. I love disc golf and I am forever grateful that Dynamic Discs changed my mind about the sport. I have met some great people here and I also get to tell people that I work with professional athletes. I have genuine pride in this company and I look forward to doing everything I can to help us grow and succeed as a community. I can't wait to update this in a few more months.
