Best Midrange Ever

As a novice player who doesn’t have crazy arm strength but also wants to see himself perform decently on the course, the compass is a must have. It’s amazing for beginners and intermediate players but I’m sure is great for pros too! The compass can hold any angle you throw it on, and doesn’t require a crazy amount of torque to do so. This is a great disc for people of all skill levels, but I’ll speak on my experience for anyone out there with a similar background:

If you’re coming from ultimate, this is the disc for you. Maybe it’s the way I used to throw frisbees, but my grip translated perfectly to the compass, even though the rim is obviously shallower than a frisbee. It’s a great disc for people transferring from ultimate to learn how to throw disc golf lines, because even though both sports throw discs, they definitely have their differences in technique!

I can’t say enough good things about the compass, and I think you’ll find that most people feel the same way. When it comes to my midranges, I have one disc that is a meat hook for utility shots, and the rest are all compasses at different levels of wear and plastic. (Currently bagging 3). Get out there and throw the compass! You won’t regret it.

A great addition to my mid-range arsenal

I bought this on a whim because of deep discount, but the Compass is such a nice disc, I bought another. The numbers look like any standard mid disc, but it feels so good I didn't have to change up my grip to fit the disc. It did exactly what I wanted it to.
Premium plastic looks like it can take a beating too.
