My Dynamic Discs Story: I started playing disc golf when I was younger, but I never really took it seriously until my sophomore year of college. I started playing tournaments in 2020 and developed a slight brand loyalty to a lot of trilogy plastic. I was going to college for a bachelors in Political Science at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, but I didn’t really have much interest to do anything but disc golf. I knew when I was sitting through college classes that I had an aptitude for school, but I really craved a job playing and working in the growing disc golf industry. With graduation coming closer, I took a shot at my favorite company and just applied to all of the positions available. Initially, I didn’t think I would get the job as I assumed there would be a lot of competition. However, in the same month I was interviewed, I accepted the position and moved to Emporia, Kansas from Texas. During all of this chaos, I was really calmed that I was going to be involved doing something I loved full time. I’ve been stoked since I was interviewed and I really feel like working at Dynamic Discs has awoken an even greater passion within me for disc golf.
