Description
River is one of our most popular discs of the past decade, probably due to its tremendous GLIDE. The River is a fairway driver for those accuracy shots that demands good control. It is easy to throw and fits most player’s power and skill levels. With small fade and amazing glide, you can really let it fly on those big anhyzer curves.
Things you should know

Please note that product images may differ slightly from the actual product. Additionally, the shade of disc color may vary. For example, blue may range from baby blue to sky blue. Foil stamp colors are assorted unless otherwise stated.

Retro

Great grip and beginner friendly flights. This is the perfect plastic blend for your first disc. This is also our most affordable plastic. For a long time we have had requests to make discs that break in more easily. Test after test led us to this plastic blend that we have named Retro.

Burst

Two colors mixed in a variation of streaks brings life to the Burst discs. Patterns and color combinations are unique for each individual disc, and will differ from disc to disc (and from the sample images).

My First Trusty Driver on Windy Days

I started with an Opto Air Diamond as a beginner finally able/ready to keep a drive on the fairway. And the first FD I trusted on high wind days was this Retro Burst River. I could depend on this heavy, stable disc to fly straight despite the wind aching to make me go OB left. As long as I don't go crazy nose up, which I finally did into some deep rough. So I'm back for a replacement and a River in Opto Air to try out.
